Foundation book launch
On Monday 20th March 2017, the Halcyon Gallery in New Bond Street kindly hosted a reception to launch our book 'City of Westminster - A celebration of People and Places'. Published by Quartet Books, this fabulous coffee table type photographic book depicts a year in the life of the City of Westminster.
The Hippodrome helps raise funds
On Thursday 16th March 2017 the Hippodrome Casino hosted a fundraising dinner in support of the Sir Simon Milton Foundation for the third year running. The fact that we were oversubscribed within a week of announcing the date of the dinner shows how popular this event has become.
The Sir Simon Milton Westminster UTC is open for applications
The new Sir Simon Milton Westminster University Technical College is opening its doors to students aged 14 to 19 in September 2017. Students who want to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) are welcome to apply.

On Tuesday 21st June 2016 the Regent Street Association very kindly organised and hosted a fundraising event for the Sir Simon Milton Foundation, held at the stunning Sofitel London St James, located in the former home of Cox’s and King’s bank in Waterloo Place, London.
Local volunteers recognised at Westminster Community Awards
Twenty one volunteers were recognised for their outstanding contribution to the community at the Westminster Community Awards on 1st June. The event took place at the Victory Services Club near Marble Arch.
Chelsea success for Sir Simon Milton Foundation
The growing issue of elderly isolation was brought to the fore at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, through a ‘Fresh’ garden seeking to address loneliness amongst our older people.
A new orchid is presented to The Queen at Chelsea
The Sir Simon Milton Foundation launched a new and innovative hardy garden orchid at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2016 as part of the Foundation’s Urban Connections Garden.
Willmott Dixon Sponsored Ride
A team from Willmott Dixon, one of the biggest privately owned companies in the UK’s construction and property sectors, took part in the 180km Cyclotour du Léman in May 2016 to raise money for the Sir Simon Milton Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
